Our Projects > Renfrew Health Centre, Paisley

Renfrew Health CentreThe brand new multi-million pound Renfrew Health and Social Care Centre opened it's doors in early 2010.

The centre brings together health and social work services under one roof for the first time and serves more than 20,000 Renfrew residents.

It's home to the 11 GPs at the three practices in the town which relocated from the old health centre on Paisley Road.

The building offers a range of services including a general dental service, physiotherapy, podiatry, speech and language therapy, community nursing and the joint learning disability service for all of Renfrewshire.

David Leese, Director of Renfrewshire Community Health Partnership (CHP), said that: “This is a landmark, flagship health centre development that will provide the very best facilities for community based health services.

“Also, working in partnership with social work colleagues is important in tackling a range of health and social issues and this joint development will therefore bring real benefits for the people of Renfrew.

“We have created a fantastic, bright, modern facility that is fit for the 21st century which we know our patients and staff will be proud of and take great benefit from.”

During construction, BRS provided a range of services to ensure the building met with rigorous environmental standards. This included Air Leakage testing and Thermal Imaging.
